The B&B is a detached carriage house built in the New England Cape style. Come upstairs for a relaxing stay in your own private quarters. As you enter, a late 19th century atmosphere unfolds before your eyes. The heart pine floors with square nails, reclaimed antique doors, rimlocks, and trim add to the appeal. It is furnished with many original antiques of the period, including a clawfoot tub, piesafe, mulechest, and an ornate queen size iron bed (there is a queen size sleeper sofa available, as well). Enjoy the ten-foot ceilings and your own complete kitchen. Step outside and breathe in the fresh country air. Spend some time on the deck under the large pecan trees and watch the cattle graze in the pasture.

Rex and Patsy Lamb will be your on-site hosts. They will prepare a hearty, country or English-style breakfast to be placed in your room, or, if your time allows, served fresh at your door. Also, a treat will be awaiting your arrival.

You have several options while you are here. If you like antique shopping, you will be within driving distance of Mt. Pleasant, Jefferson, Pittsburg, Mt. Vernon, Gladewater, and other historical towns. There are nearby lakes, golf courses, restaurants, museums, and scenic countryside. Of course, you may just choose to relax in your own little world and be pampered.
